PRE-SEASON CAMP TIPS

 

WHEN YOU WAKE UP   

                   DRINK WATER

                   EAT BREAKFAST (PROTEIN/CARBS)

 

DURING PRACTICE

                   DRINK WATER

   DRINK SOME POWERADE/GATORADE

 

IF YOU HAVE A TENDANCY TO CRAMP UP

                 DRINK A SHOT OF PICKLE JUICE

 

AFTER PRACTICE

                   IMMEDIATELY DRINK POWERADE/GATORADE

                   FOAM ROLL/STRETCH

                   GET IN THE ICE BUCKETS

HOT/COLD CONTRAST SHOWERS (1 MIN HOT/:30     COLD; REPEAT 3X; FINISH W/ COLD) AFTER EVERY   PRACTICE/WORKOUT/GAME!!!!!!

                   EAT (CARBS/PROTEIN)

 

WHEN YOU EAT

                   DRINK WATER

                   SALT YOUR FOOD

                   AVOID TOO MUCH COFFEE, TEA AND SODAS

                   EAT FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

 

WHEN YOU NAP

                   SLEEP WITH YOUR FEET UP

 

IF YOU ARE LOSING WEIGHT

                   DRINK MORE POWERADE/SHAKES

                   EAT MORE OFTEN (SNACKS)

 

HOW MUCH WATER IS ENOUGH?

                   PEE CLEAR 1X EACH DAY

   GET UP AND PEE 1X EACH NIGHT

 
Post these tips in your athletes' locker and training rooms so they can see them everyday!
